Participants signed an international agreement on cooperation and partnership for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
A new stage of the Real Business Forum was held in Kaliningrad on Oct. 10 through Oct. 14.
The international project is being carried out by the NGO Foundation of Knowledge and Technology for Small and Medium-Sized Business “Victoria” (Kaliningrad), INFOX Information Center (Bishkek), Harmony Business Innovation Foundation (Astana) and the Maverik Active Information Center (Gdansk).
This is the third event within the framework of this project, aimed to create a permanent platform for in-person meetings of small and medium-sized businesses from the Russian Federation, the CIS countries and the EU in Kaliningrad.
The peculiarity of the passed event was its holding with the support of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Kaliningrad Region at the site of another important event - the International Forum of Entrepreneurs of the Baltic Sea Region.
Among participants of the Real Business Forum there were businessmen from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Italy, specializing in the following activities: construction and building materials; - furniture production; - supply of equipment for HoReCa; - food production; - tourism; - innovative products and IT technologies; - supplies of equipment for farms, - printing services; - real estate services; - consulting and educational services.
During the Forum the presentations of the regions and companies, as well as B2B meetings with the businessmen from the Kaliningrad region were conducted.
For example, the guests from Kyrgyzstan met with the Kaliningrad businessmen at the Baltic Business Club, where they were told about the conditions for investing in the regional economy and the potential for cooperation with the Kaliningrad companies.
“This is the second business mission of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs to Kaliningrad and the third meeting within the framework of the Real Business Forum,” - Denis Parmenov, head of the delegation, general director of the Bishkek-based Club INFOX information center said..
“We have once again seen the viability of this project and its importance for small and medium-sized businesses.
The business-circles of the Central Asian republics is actively seeking access to international markets, and the Kaliningrad region is of particular interest to us, due to its geographical position, proximity to the European market for goods and services, and the availability of advanced technologies successfully implemented in many Kaliningrad companies.
We are hopeful that such meetings of small and medium-sized businesses in the framework of the Real Business Forum will become systematic in Kaliningrad, the project itself will be filled with new content, attract new participants and supporters interested in the development of small and medium-sized businesses”, said Denis Parmenov
The Italian company NEYWA Consulting and Training, involved in the consulting and educational services, became one of these new participants of the recent Real Business Forum.
“We have already been lecturing for small and medium-sized businesses in Sochi as part of the educational programs,” Marco Iacono, director of the NEYWA Consulting and Training, said.
“Our company is interested in implementing joint projects with the Kaliningrad educational organizations, which could be useful for small and medium-sized businesses.
In order to reach the goal, I had a promising meeting with the leadership of the Western Branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and State Service, where we agreed to evaluate the possibilities of implementing joint training projects in Kaliningrad”.
Another important event was the presentation of the “Real Business Forum” project, conducted by Oleg Matukevich, President of the Foundation “Victoria”, at one of the round tables of the International Forum of Entrepreneurs of the Baltic Sea Region.
“The Real Business Forum is a permanent platform for face-to-face meetings of representatives of the small and medium businesses and micro enterprises from the Russian Federation, CIS countries and the EU, ready to offer new practices and technologies”, - Oleg Matukevich told the participants of the round table.
Within the framework of the International Forum of Entrepreneurs of the Baltic Sea Region, participants of the Real Business Forum signed an agreement on cooperation and partnership.
The agreement was signed by the Foundation “Victoria”, the Foundation "Center for the Support of Entrepreneurship of the Kaliningrad Region", the Information Center "Club INFOX", the Harmony Business Innovation Foundation, a consulting company NEYWA Consulting and Training and the Center for Active Information "Maverik".
The partners agreed on joint activities aimed at supporting business, promoting the implementation of modern technologies in the field of entrepreneurship of small and micro enterprises, as well as the development of foreign economic relations in the framework of the Real Business Forum project.
