Knowledge and Technologies Foundation for Small and Medium Business “Viktoria” arranged the visit of Belorussian business delegation led by the Vice-Governor of the Grodno Region Mr. Yuriy Shuleiko to Kaliningrad.
The visit was held 9-11 of February and was aimed at exploring opportunities of establishing new joint ventures and developing business contacts in agriculture, furniture making and construction industries of Grodno and Kaliningrad regions. In the framework of the visit program the delegation met with the Deputy Chairman of the Kaliningrad Government Anton Alikhanov, attended the Kaliningrad enterprises and took part in the business matchmaking event “Contact – Contract” with more than 25 invited local businessmen.
One of the practical results of the mission was the agreement to found a demonstration site for the Belorussian producers of agricultural machinery at the local Agricultural Farm “Zalivnoye”.
“The time when simple trade of goods is becoming a thing of the past, - says Mr. Oleg Matukevich, the President of Viktoria Foundation. – We are interested first of all in new technologies and establishment of new joint ventures where they will be used.”
The visit took place by the invitation of the Kaliningrad regional Government and was supported by the Regional Fund for Entrepreneurship Support and the Representative Office of Belorussian Embassy in Kaliningrad.
