In the course of the trade mission of Kaliningrad business companies to regions of Grodno and Lida (Belorussia) the parties agreed to intensify cooperation in furniture production branch.
The visit took place 15-18 of November and was aimed at increasing awareness of Kaliningrad enterprises in Belarus, finding new business and cooperation opportunities for Kaliningrad and Belarusian enterprises and organizations and promoting the export potential of the Kaliningrad region.
The program was tailor-made to participants needs and included visits to the leading enterprises of Grodno Region and business matchmaking session. The participants discussed cooperation in agriculture, construction industry, furniture production branch and trade in food processing products.
One of the main results of the mission was the agreement about reciprocal visit of Belorussian companies producing materials for furniture making industry to Kaliningrad to meet with their counterparts and discuss cooperation in development of joint business.
The organizers of the mission were Knowledge and Technologies Foundation for SMEs Viktoria and Grodno Regional Institution for Financial Support of Enterprises supported by Kaliningrad Regional Centre for Export Support, Grodno Regional Executive Committee and the Representative Office of Belorussian Embassy in Kaliningrad.
